Car Value Advice
Car Value Advice
Hi Everyone,
Just need some basic advice.
As most of you know, I crached my IS200, and bought an astra.
I mentioned in another thread that Im looking at buying an IS200 in Autumn/Winter 2010 which seems along way away.
Its a target I've set myself and what there call in business a SMART target lol
Now I was wondering, what you think the value of cars would be then.
I want a IS200, but would not mind a IS300, and if the price is right, IS220/250 would be ideal.
When I mention replacement, I would be after the lowest in the range in regards to price. age, mileage doesnt bother me.
What do you think of the price I would be able to get an IS250 in Winter 2010, cheapest one on the market? or even an is220.
And what do you think the prices would be for a 1999 / 2000 IS200, or the lowest age IS300?
All comments welcome
I think Gord is fairly close with those figures.
I am sure there be some worried owners out there.
To give you some idea i sold a car is200 auto on a 02 plate for £3750 a year ago before the tax issue came out and the raise in petrol tax and cost i would of got £6500 for the same car.
so more or less the same prices now?
I have seen IS220d for about 8k in my area
2001 IS300 for 3.8k ouch a bit much for a 9 year old,(winter 2010)
would and 2001 is300 be in the new tax band? that would influence my decision heavily, as the all is220/250 will be in the tax band?
Replied to this over the other side, but in response to your tax question - all depends on whether the new tax rules kick in. An IS250 registered before March 2006 is fine I think, it's only the ones after that are definitely in the higher bracket (manuals only though, autos are in the lower group)
