I think it's stifling the creativity of my sub!
Am considering putting a couple of vents in between the speakers already there, would that make any difference?
No matter how I set the eq I get either loud muddy bass or quiet crisp bass, but nowhere clean clean and loud at the same time.
I reckon it's because of the metal coffin it's stuck in when it was used to a nice big coupe boot with a thin Non metal shelf above it.

23-03-2020, 03:30 PM #2Take the rear speakers out. All SPL BMW's etc. have rear speakers removed and it makes a huge difference. Rear 6x9's are just not needed unless you care what the back passengers listen to? even then they can hear the front components anyway.

On the way home from work I stopped at the service station, opened the plastic cover and put the armrest down, but what the hell is that half a zip bag all about?
Would taking that plastic cover and bag off do the trick perhaps?

If you search p.lindboms thread you'll see he out the sub pointing out the ski hatch into the car.
