I was going to the Ace cafe meet today when Wayne rang me last night and said he could fit the swirlpot and pump today . For the last couple of weeks the car has been losing water , found it to be a leaking heater matrix , i got to Wayne's and he started to work on the fuel system , i then found out that i had forgotten to bring the mounting plate and hose :o , so no go , we went to a breakers yard to get a heater matix , when pulling the matrix out ( it was very tight ) one of the pipes broke off  , they are soft as , went back to Waynes and bypassed the heater matrix for now , made arrangement with Wayne to come back monday to finish the fuelling . On the way home on the M11 the engine revs went up and i slowed down Confusedhock: i put it in 5th gear all ok , back in 6th gear zilch , 5th ok , i had to stop on the slip road traffic lights , no gears at all , :cursing: , behind me was a motorway maintance truck and he quickly toed me to the mc donalds just round the corner Smile , i phoned the AA and got toed home , it's been a really good day NOT , :crying:

Gutted mate,

I have the heater matrix go on me as well a couple of years ago. I cut the pipes from the new one short then used silicone pipe to the engine bay, more flexibility, less chance of breaking.
