04-05-2020, 04:21 PM #1I've noticed recently that my cars overheating. I checked it last weekend and everything seemed ok but I dont think the cooling fans are kicking in. I checked the fuses and they also seem ok as well as the connections. Can anyone help me please? Its only happening when the cars stationery for a period of time.
Is the interior heater working as it should?

04-05-2020, 06:36 PM #5In the fuse box in the engine bay, take it out and put 12v across it to check it clicks.

06-05-2020, 09:30 AM #9Right guys, I've found the culprit! Matt, you were right! Its the wires on the temp sensor and one of the wires has corroded and basically broken so I really need to fix this now but I dont know how. Does anyone have any tips? All I can think of at the moment is as the wire is so long from the loom then get a one from a scrappy and basically cut it and splice it together with another one....
Anyone got any bits laying about?
