Hi there driving my is200 tonight and the engine management light came on then the trc light started flashing any help would be great

Just booked it in at my mates garage the dropped my engine in it two months ago. ****** off with it now every month something wrong might drive it to scrap yard

As Stav says you need the fault code.

get a reader off ebay they are like £20 and then you can find out yourself what the problem is - thats what i do.

i just disconnected the battery and forgot about it haha, its worked so far

if its a tempory misreading, resetting will work. and as jay says only time will tell if it comes back on, if its a broken faulty part it should come back pretty quick.
