So after the car sitting for 9 months or so the carbon bonnet is really badly faded, I ll try get a pic up but it looks white!!

Anyone had this before? Any tips?

Might be UV damage to the laquer? Give it a quick polish and see what happens.

Kleers do a uv protection polish for carbon fibre,

Lacquer is lacquer as far as I'm aware on carbon or paint, so I 3m compound should clean it up.

Lacquer is lacquer as far as I'm aware on carbon or paint, so I 3m compound should clean it up.

yeah use the 3m to buff it all up back to how it should be and then seal it with a uv protect polish like the kleers stuff to stop it happening again http://www.kleers.com/product.php?xProd=10&xSec=1
