satnav install in non satnav car?

09-07-2020, 05:37 PM #1alright guys, im collecting a satnav tomorrow, the guy says i will get the screen/housing, ecu for the satnav and all he wiring. my question is what wiring do you need for it to work? ive heard/seen different threads saying different stuff! also i have an aftermarket stereo and ive heard that is another problem.
any help appreciated!

Most people who want one just buy a housing, and then do the 'StavNav' conversion, where you just fit an aftermarket satnav into the housing.

if you want to try install then go ahead, but MUCH MUCH MUCH easier to replace the screen
