21-07-2017, 06:33 AM #2the process itself is simples, but it all depends on if you have the right part. You have to remember that once you fit a new hard drive you will need to install windows + all drivers for the laptop.

It's actually very easy, done it myself before, didn't take long at all. As above you will need to reinstall everything which might be more of a pain than the actual hard drive swap. Best to look up the specs of the hard drives first before taking things apart
