Hi Everybody, first time poster from Australia!

I have got an 01 IS200 which I've fitted a TTE Supercharger kit to, and I've got a couple of questions.

Firstly I'm not running any kind of black box/fcd, yet the car is running fine. There is no fuel cut, or stuttering etc. Maybe A slight hesitation if i'm in a high gear and floor the throttle at low rpms. Can I keep running like this, or will long term damage occur?

Secondly, I've hooked up a boost gauge. The car makes about 4psi at high rpms and 1-2 at the lower end of the revband (under 4k). Is that about right?

Hi mate, the pressure is about right, but I'm not sure why you don't suffer boost cut. Maybe something to do with the Auz ecu?

Normally the ECU requires the Black box to trick the ECU and prevent fuel cut. I'm only guessing but different countries have different maps in their ECU and yours is set up in such a way that it does not need a Black Box. Lucky you!

If you want to know your charger is boosting right get a Blow Off Valve from HKS. I know my charger is boosting right as the BOV I've fitted to my car, when you rev it out past 6000rpm and change gear the WHooopssssHH from under the bonnet lets you know everything is boosting as it should...! It's a very reassuring sound!
