Are the badges on the bootlid of the IS just stuck on or are they pinned where they leave small holes once removed??

Also what is the best/easiest way to remove them. I want to retain the central "L" badge.

ones on the boot are just stickers, easiest way is to get some cotton or fishing wire and use it as a saw to get behind the badge and cut the sticky and prise the badge off, badge removed, use tar and glue remover to remove any residue then clean and polish to get rid of the outlines, job done.

The best way I found was using a thin wire wound guitar string with some sticks as handles. You can use it like a wire saw, but it doesn't have any sharp edges to mark the paint with.

Personally though, I'm not a big fan of the totally debadged IS200/300 look. In my eye's it makes the section of boot lid above the number plate look huge and out of proportion (Even worse with a boot lip spoiler fitted). It seems OK if you only keep the centre badge, But with all of them gone I feel it looks odd....... But then again, It's your car, And your taste that counts.

Air filter by K+N, Exhaust by Japspeed, Brakes by Mintex......... And a scuffed rear arch by my sister. Huh
