1st the battery on Lexi died, so replaced it with the reputable 005L Bosch (£64.99) with 5 year warranty. Then totally forgot about the MOT being due...surprise, surprise the little minx failed lol. The right shock absorber was leaking quite bad and made the tyre tread wear down stupidly fast!!! Shocker needed replacing so would need to buy two. The worn tyre was illegal and back two were close to minimum tread depth, with this in mind I chose to buy four new tyres from love tyres website...Decided to put 225/40/R18 German Vredestein's (£164.20) on the back and some Japanese Infinites (£114.68) on the front. Would definately recommend the Vredestein's, they got excellent grip in the wet even when high speed cornering, plus they look **** hot on the 18'' Aero's. After some advice on here i ordered some KYB shock absorbers (£106.08), got the garage to fit all the parts and they charged me £95 for labour. The old creditcard has taken a real bashing and i'm not looking forward to the massive bill so close to christmas, well and truly gutted!!!

Always good to give the car a good going over before the slippery conditions take hold.
