Im surprised i havent put picks of my Stagea "Anna" up on here before, infact im sure i have but for the life of me i cant find them???

Got her towards the end of July as a replacement work car as my Omega caught fire

Shes a 1997 Series 1 RSfourV with a spec 2 RB25DET engine, imported into the UK by Auto BMC of Watford and her first owner in this country was My Friend Steph, she had 61,000 Kms on the clock which is about 40,000 miles and now showing 83k which is only 64k miles

So im only the second owner in the UK, sadly when i loaded it with tools it all went a bit wrong dropping the rear and raising the front

fitted 3 sets of rubber spring assister's to the rear springs and chopped the fronts but the rear, although higher, was so soft it bounced 4 times over 1 bump and the fronts was so soft it bottomed out on bump stops at anything over 10 mph :w00t:

So drastic problems require drastic actions and these actions was to buy a set of BC racing coilovers

Front

Rear
[Image: IMG-20131109-WA0001_zps8dce09ae.jpg]

which when fitted sorted all the issues in one go

Next probel was the wheels, they was way too far under the car and in my eyes made it look like a clowns car so roll up a set of 35mm wheel spacers which again made a huge difference to its stance and handling

without spacers

With spacers

And the end result looks like this

and after trying lots of different settings with the coil overs i have her handling like a dream, the wider track making quite a positive difference to the body roll too.

A little hicup up to the idle every now and then and a flutter when it came onto boost made me look into a new set of uprated ign coils and i also fitted new plugs too (NGK iridium 7s)

I also de-catted it and removed the centre box so now all it has is 2.5 inch all the way to a Nismo rear box (Nissan sport muffler) and it sounds nice but not overbearing on a long journey, its also been de beeped and had new front drop links and front pads, got a inner front CV boot to fit and then some sign writing and she's done, im over the moon, a proper rare and classy old school jap car that goes like a train and handles like a dream AND its a work car, i can now enjoy all these lovely roads i drive on in the middle of no where when going to jobs Wink
