When idling, the car seems to be ticking over quite loud. Does anyone have an idea why this is, I want to get it quiet (almost silent) like i've heard others.

Thanks, I had my cambelt done last month, I know my battery is on it's way out, all fluids are at the correct level. Oil is less than 5000miles old. How can i ccheck/clean injectors and valves, or is that a job for the pro's

Possibly only the injector solenoids clicking, because the engine is generally so quiet you can hear the injector clicking and it sounds like a cam or follower.

Is there anyway I can stop or make the clicking sound less loud?
