as the title suggests I have a knocking sound at slow speeds that seems to be coming from the drivers side front.
it is really starting to annoy me as I cant see anything obvious doesn't seem to be a wheel bearing .
it is really noticeable on the slow sih drive out of my village as the roads are not too great.
any ideas folks ?

Sounds like possibly the ball joint. Mine need doing at the moment and I get a knocking/click noise when I move forward slowly from a nearly full lock left to a nearly full lock right. Tends to happen when pulling out my parking space at my apartment. When driving normally it doesn't really knock but when I go over an uneven road surface I get a bit of knocking. I've put it all down to the ball joints as when I got my mot done they said I had some play on the front left and that's where the noise comes from, also know from reading other peoples posts.

Hope someone can confirm though!Smile
