I am trying to install an aftermarket sunroof closure kit to work with the standard remote
The kit I have states it can do 2 windows and sunroof
But I only want sunroof to work
Any help would be great

I have the red (12v) sorted the White Acc black (neg)

I think I've sorted the 2 brown cables on the lock system

Main problem is the purple wire (sunroof)

With that system it'll only close either on slide or tilt. Not both.
You need to run the wire up the a pillar (watch for airbags if you have them) then to the blue/red stripe for the slide, or red/white stripe for close on tilt.

The wires are behind the switch itself on the roof.

Cheers mate could I split the cable to both?

Or is there another way altogether of doing it?

No because if you send signal to both at the same time it will just do nothing, to work the sunroof unit needs to send a signal to lower for 2 seconds, then stop, then send the signal to slide close for about 5 seconds.

Thanks for your help and advice it's just that I've heard of people having auto sunroof closure on is200 but can't find the I go to wire it up

I have it on mine. Pro le x used to sell a kit made by a member on here called geoffers but that was years ago and not sure where the kits are these days. Prob on owners cars and they don't realise.
I have one on mine it's awesome.

You could make one with a timer and counter chip but you'll need some electrical knowledge for that.
