I have dry fitted my bucket seats using the old seat rail cut off the standard seat and then using side mounts which levels the seat up well offsetting the screws. I just feel like I'm sitting high up! Ideas and pictures of other people's method would be great I feel like I should be lower, I'll try and get some pics on the way Iv done. Cheers

That was exactly the issue I had when I tried it mate. Far too high.

Best bet is to make some custom frames, cut the mounts that bolt to the car off the bottom of the frames and weld a frame on top to bolt the side mounts to.

I had a qualified fabricator make a very simple but very strong fixed frame just above the floor of my car. It's effectively two high strength bars with reinforcement plating In the inner sheet metal.
