Huge thank you to Matt who gave up a day to go north on a retrieval mission, with no guarantee item or person would be there and then brought it all the way down to Milton Keynes! ( I know there was a small detour to do another Outlaw a favour)

Cannot tell you how much I appreciate your offer and assistance as it's just too far for my knee to drive myself and the whole situation has been stressing me out for ages as it caused two people close to me huge stress they cannot cope with right now not to mention a massive financial loss they could never recover.

So thank you again, so very much - you've a good heart! ( you still have an evil streak though :p)

Sam ... With thanks from Matt and Vikki too xxx

I just want to bump this thread, as Matt did me yet another favour this weekend. Just to put in to some perspective how much Matt has done for me since 2012, completely off his own back and with absolute refusal of any kind of payment:
  • 2012 - Came over and sorted out my hubs, as some extra length studs were causing me problems
  • 2012 again - spent the best part of a day of his own time helping me diagnose an issue with my LS400 brakes (we never solved the problem, but got the performance to an acceptable level)
  • 2012 again - Came to my place and fitted a new timing belt and water pump to the IS200 on my driveway, so I could get to a job interview the next day (for the job I now have).
  • 2013 - helped me fix the wiring in the IS200 when I'd managed to ****** something up behind the centre console
  • 2013 - stopped by at very short notice to help me dismantle something on the IS200, then left me with some tools worth more than the car
  • 2013 - Sorted me out with some freebie service parts for the IS200
  • 2014 - Came and got me from my house after I'd smashed up the green IS (due to a medical issue), took me to the pub and sorted me out with a pint, just to check that I was okay.
  • 2014 - fixed the front of the IS300, which took friggin ages and another good chunk of Matt's weekend
  • 2014 - Gave me his IS300 induction kit free of charge, then fit my coilovers for me, did a wheel alignment and swapped the oil filter in the 300 for a new one
  • 2014 - Acted as a McDonald's taxi service after some bell-end wrote off my IS300 without leaving their insurance details
  • 2015 - checked out my IS250 for issues when I bought it and did me a favour on some service items
  • 2015, this Saturday just gone - turned up at my house at the crack of dawn to give me my locking wheel nut key (which I'd left at Lexus Manchester), so I could get my tyres swapped over at a garage down the road.
  • Most importantly, Matt has fixed every (quite often, stupid) mistake I've made with all 3 of my cars over the past 3 years and has taken the time to explain why what I've done is stupid, why I'm an idiot, or to show me how to do it properly.

I've definitely forgotten a few things, but on top of all that, he puts up with all of my stupid questions.

Cheers Matt.
