How can I stop this irritating reverse beeping I'm half expected someone to jump out behind me in a high visibility jacket to guide me backwards! It's driving me nuts!

You can't it's built into the speedo unit, though leave it in place, I've removed the standard dash but still fitted a little led as its too easy to accidentally select reverse. And you'll be glad of it that day in traffic you don't reverse into soemone

I'll take that on board stav, it does my head in though I'm used to having a close 1st/rev gearing due to my first car being a 4speed 1.3 mk5 escort.... Doesn't phase me but I suppose there is always that one time!

If it helps my supras do that too and after nearly fifteen years driving it my passenger said that beep is annoying and I said 'what beep?' ... How long have you had yours? Lol not long to go

Hi
I had removed the bleep when i had the car for 2 days.

Remove the gauge cluster and check the wires in the plug.
Check wich wire gives 12v when you select the reverse gear.
When you found the wire just cut it and tape it. And you are done.

Beep is a good thing, if it wasn't for the beep I know of an ocassion where I wouldhave reversed into someone at the lights. Keep the beep Smile
