Hi guys this could all be in my head but have any of you guys had issues with your electric mirrors being a bit tempremental?

Mine always used to be on the auto fold when you lock the car and then unfold when you start the engine, however recently they are seeming to not always fold in when the car is locked and then sometimes they also unfold when I unlock the car before i've started the engine.

Not a major problem just seems really weird

Could it be the trigger connection? Maybe a bit loose or something? Try resoldering and see if it still exists.

Yeah sounds like the mirrors are fine, but the contact for the trigger on the mirror closing module must be poor, so it's not closing every time off the keyfob.

The auto mirror closure is an add-on, right ? So sounds like there's something wrong with that add-on and/or its connection to the main wiring.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

could be like I say it's nothing major just a bit of a annoyance at times as it makes me think I haven't locked it.

the standard switch will still work even if the unit is faulty as the DPDT relay makes a straight through connection to the mirror circuit

it sounds like its pulsing wrong although if its opening the mirrors when you unlock i want to know what you have broke and maybe add it as a design feature lol
