Just how easy is it to fit the satnav and is it really worth doing? I assume it's not a plug and play type affair.

Not easy at all, non of the wiring is there and it needs a replacement of nearly all the interior loom, much easier to retrofit an aftermarket unit into the housing

If your going to the effort of fitting the nav unit and want those benefits it might be worth considering a car pc

The Missus saw one with a sat nav and now wants one, road signs and a vauge sense of direction is all I need. She also saw Stavs fancy boot and wants one of them too... All I want is for it to handle better and finally pull the skin off a rice pudding.

Either of you two got one of them fancy folding mirror gadgets for sale yet?
