Well what a crappy day, was doing a great job on the turbo, replaced the gasket with a stainless one due to mine blowing quite a bit, i'd got the turbo and all the bits basicly off the car in around an hour, and was just fitting it all back together when the heavens opened up and drowned me, so had to give it up mid refit as i was soaked!

So thought i'd play with a couple of the parts that i'd taken off and give them a clean! But got a bit carried away as usual Smile

This is the intake after i'd cleaned it off with a degreaser,

Then after a bit of sanding ,
[Image: DSCF4091.jpg]

After the 1st go with the buffer,

And how it looks at the moment,
[Image: DSCF4105_edited.jpg]

Going to give it another going over with the sandpaper when i get chance as its still covered in scratches and pitting from the casting?

Hopefully i'll do the turbo pipe, rocker covers and plenum when i get chance and when i dont need to use the car?

Need to order some of the bling i've seen now, so i can start to get the engine bay to a better standard than it is at the moment!

Here i go again LOL Rolleyes
