TRD YELLOW anti roll bars any one have them
TRD YELLOW anti roll bars any one have them
going to buy(well my mum is for my crimbo)trd yellow anti roll bars!!does anyone have them fitted and what should i expect ie body roll wise??i want it gone!!!
I think they should be pretty similar to most of the other aftermarket ARBs, so you should get a huge reduction in body roll. Not sure that it'll be 100% gone, and you probably don't want it 100% gone otherwise your car's handling might be adversely affected if it's *too* stiff.
as long as its 75% gone even after lowering it still leans over alot!!
As far as I can tell, the TRD yellows are 49% stiffer at the front, and 99% at the rear. My C-Ones are +60% and +100%, i.e. very similar, and there is a huge reduction in body roll.
Ormi - I have these fitted to mine with TTE springs and the difference to stock is awesome. When I first did them I wasn't convinced it was the best mod but having since driven stock IS's i can safely say they're great
i have never had a car like this from the age of 17 i've had two seaters or hot hatches, not saying its the worst ever out of the cars i've driver but it is the worst out of the cars i've owned.
sounds like i'm making the right chioce though cant wait!!and to think when i bought this car a year and a half ago i said i was going to leave it alone and not mod it!!!!hahahaha
ha, you def haven't left it alone, but for the better :thumbup1: I was the same as I have always had hot hatches too, but they work.
You won't regret it Ormi, uprated ARBs is IMHO the best mod you can do, by a *long* way, to improve your IS200's handling. It will feel like a totally different car
