Not sure anyone will buy those on here anymore after what I've been saying about them, Tony thinks my problems are related to the F1As as well :Sulk:
I might have to get rid of mine too if things don't get better - how are you getting on with the sessantas btw?
LOL!!!
The Verdesteins are by far the best tyres I have had on the car. I still can't believe the grip and they really have transformed the car.
The weird thing is they came second to the Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetrics in a recent tyre test yet the Goodyears just didn't work on my car. I know some BMW owners have have them and say they are great!
I had them on the Honda S2000 and they were awesome. If you believe the reviews they are supposed to be the current top tyres!
Nothing wrong with the tyres, just didn't suit my car. I though they would have worked well on an IS200 being a ligher car by over 200kg.

funny you say that i've also heard bad things about the F1A's, I've currently got F1 GSD3's on the front and Falken FK452s on the back and even before where I had F1GSD3's on the back these Falkens provide sooo much more grip especially in the wet.

LOL exactly the best sales thread this is it? PMSL!
I found on the S2000 that the grip from the Goodyears was stunning. I think its to do with the weight of the cars. The S2000 was a light car - 1200Kg compared to my heavy oil burner 1615Kg
I know the Goodyears are the current tyre of choice on Evo/Scooby forums too and seat owners seem to like them too.
Werid isn't it?
Glad things are much better now, my problem isn't exactly the same as yours, I've had a significant decrease in traction since the weather got colder and the rear end is very unpredictable. Plus on the motorway the rear seems to "wander" a little and doesn't feel particularly planted.
I'm hoping it's more to do with the tyre compound and not getting decent temperatures in which case they should be fine again once the weather warms up.
It's a bit annoying though, as the sessantas were one of the tyres I was considering when I got the goodyears and they were cheaper too - but like you I went on the tyre tests that rated the F1As very highly. To be fair though, they have been fantastic until now so not totally unjustified.
