I'm looking for a really cheap 740 Estate for a future project, can have a duff engine or box as they will be thrown away.

YEAH!

I've had two of those. In my opinion one of the best cars ever made, as they are super reliable and their shape is optimal for transporting a lot of stuff. Also, you can get a used engine in working condition for less than £100, at least over here :tongue_smilie:

OK cheers mate, new chassis and body should be back 14th Jan, new rear top loader axle arrived last Wednesday then we just have to build the car all from scratch again in eight weekends before the first race. :cursing: :cursing: Confusedcared:

Yep hopefully with a 350 Chevy V8  but more a street car rather than a strip car to start with. Confusedneaky2:

This is a twin turbo chevy powered Volvo 740 with quite a lot of power. No one knows how much, as the rolling road broke at 870hk and around 1100nm Smile

Yep that's the sort of thing, but I'm going to do the estate as I can tub it and get a ford 9" axle and wider wheels in for better traction and still have room in the back and I'm looking down the Blower route as opposed to Turbo's
