i have yet another faulty 02 sensor in the exhaust! 2nd in 18months! soooo decating the exhaust and removing the sensor seems the logical way forward. but what i want to know is what is causing the sensors to keep failing? is it cos gasses arent escaping properly? so would removing the sensor and putting an 02 simulater in cause any problems that could be underlaying somewhere, or could it just be a faulty cat? please help

I see your point not sure what is involved with it as there are the four sensors, which could mean there maybe a need for some ECU programming? Worth enquiring, I would prob give SPC a bell.

i know there is an involvement of a simulater somewhere but dont know how its setup/installed, and probably wont be able to get rid of all the cats due to emissions

I have also done two out of my four sensors.
You have two pre and two post around the cat.
Normally these will last five years upwards so it will be normal for them to be going.
Lucky for me i've not changed one in over a 1 1/2 years.

I was going to ask where you got it from too. Does it say Denso on it, or is that just what the eBay guy said ? I wonder if it could be fake ? I would certainly expect it to last a lot longer than 18 months.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !
