Hello,

Dont know if its in the right section but in a bit of a rush here??

Dad had his flights to Gibraltar cancelled today as he was due to fly at 7am tomorrow morning for Mums birthday, but due to the volcano it is fully cancelled. He is now looking at going to London for the weekend (Friday - Monday) However, since he is getting money back for the flights i need to help him with some things.

1) How can i register his car for tomorrow in the congestion charge. Since its a Hybrid (GS450h) he can get it free? But it needs registering. Is there a direct link to this as i cannot find it on the TLF website.

2) He wants a hotel where he can get to Oxford road and The west end quite easily (lets say 1/2 tube trains), so it doesnt have to be DIRECTLY in the center? Are there any recommendations or areas that i should be looking at?

thanks a lot

Yep the registration business is annoying, it's just a way to get £10 a year out of us. Definitely takes a few days for the registration to be processed though so won't work straight off. Either way it's only £8 for one day, weekends are free.

I'm guessing you mean Oxford St? What sort of budget are you looking at? There are some cheapish hotels even right in the centre so it won't necessarily cost a lot........

Durable Ping G15 Fairway Wood

I have been previously on the fence on the Ping G15 Fairway Wood i might put in my bag, after 40 minutes in the hitting bay using this beast I decided to buy and check out. 4 rounds later, We are consistently hitting 270 over tee using this type of beauty and about 250 over deck. The ball flight is ideal also it sets up perfectly. I recommend to anybody looking to include a little pop in their bag....done well ping! Because i really liked it inside store, I loved it about the course. The two 3 & 5 woods that we purchased are very HOT. We are almost 60-years old and that i gained 15-20 yards over my old (7-8 years) clubs. The G15 is easy going to (forgiving), easy to get airborne, looks good once you line it up & an easy task to aim. All in all one among my best buys ever.
