Anyone know the best way how to cleaning off bird poo when dryed in the sun and harded, car keeps getting bombed at work and home.
There are smear marks left on the paint work when i wipe it off with a sponge and water. I try to wipe it off straight away when spotted as i know the stuff is corrosive to paint work. Any advise or tips on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

First thing i usually do mate is to spray it with a car shampoo to soften it, then wash off with a soft wet microfibre cloth/mitt, dry and then apply some polish over the area to remove the smear, in the past i've wiped it off with a damp cloth and its actually scratched the paintwork, so now i always wet it first :thumbup1:

Most bird dropping contain nut shells and sometimes grit, so worth soaking first and removing before a jet wash

I've got a pack of Autoglym Bird Dropping Wipes (yes, really ! ) in my glovebox. So when this happens, I can hopefully get it cleaned off before it hardens too much and starts damaging the paint. I guess you could use other wipes, but I feel happier using these since at least they've been tested vs car paintwork.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !
