The Potenza RE050A's are needing replaced so trailing through the various sites. Thought I would look at the TOYO T1R PROXES TOYO or VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SESSANTA as both get good write ups. Checked the usual suspects online, then phoned a local guy who was recommended to me, TOYO T1R PROXES TOYO - 4 fitted at £568, result. Well worth a phone call to your local suppliers Camskills were £533 just to supply. Booked in for 4 new boots on Saturday.

Cheers

Very nearly went for the T1R's on the supra a couple of months back. In the end i managed to get a full set of Goodyear Eagle f1's which are fantastic on the supra and well recommended on the MKIV forum. I was concerned that with having to soft sidewalls, let alone a soft compound, i'd eat through the rears in no time with nearly 500 hp Smile

Christian, I had the Eagles on my old IS, brilliant grip on them although the soft compound picked up all the stones etc on the roads.

See the Fk452's are really recommended by some on the supra forum and totally hated by others. Think the general opinion was in the wet they were quite good, but in the dry people were just lighting them up at the rear

:d this was my problem to, wanting grip, but something that would last, ish...

As the supra isnt my daily driver, it tends to get 'used' when it comes out Smile

Tyres are always a funny area, what works for some doesnt for others. Either way you have made a good choice and will have some great grip for the summer Smile
