IS200 coil packs
I think I may have two coil packs on their way out. Don't want to pay over the odds, but then I want something that's going to be reliable.

Gord - I've had my TRC OFF light flashing a couple of times, associated with errors like P1300 and P1325 (numbers 1 and 6). It happened this morning a couple of minutes after starting the car, and when it was idling I thought it felt rough. When I've had it, I've cleared the codes and it's gone away for a while though.
I thought it could be intermittent until they went completely. Is that not right then, does clearing the code means it comes straight back up again normally ?

13-04-2018, 04:36 PM #5Thanks for the input so far. I'm kinda dubious about buying second-hand coil packs though - i.e. how much life do they have left in them ? Particularly if it's an intermittent problem anyway (but more of that below).

Gord Only ever had one go on me, E/M/Light & TRC light came on, reset ecu, after few miles both came back on again, got changed under warranty as car was just over 12 months old :thumbup:
Well that's the thing, that's why I'm saying I'm wondering whether mine are on the way out - i.e. not totally failed yet. It looks like it might be starting to happen more frequently, but it hasn't really happened enough yet to be sure on that.
