2000/2001 roughly, not sure if it coincided with the change in stereo in 2000 or the full facelift in 2001.

Marsdendean 2001. It was with the change in stereo if i remember correctly. My old man had a 51 reg and had the new stereo along with chrome bits
The stereo changed a bit earlier than that, it was in 2000, around X reg I think. The full facelift was at 2001 '51', hence not 100% sure whether the chrome bits came with the stereo or the facelift. As a guess I'd say with the facelift as that's when the major interior changes were made.
