Smoked/tinted headlights
Smoked/tinted headlights
Seen an audi RS4 recently which had been done up quite tastefully but the different thing it had was totally blacked out smoked/tinted headlights. Arent these illegal? How do they work and how is it done as it actually looked quite cool.
This might not be the same as what you saw but I saw a car like that recently and was quite intruiged, I was pretty sure that they would be illegal.
On closer inspection of one I found that they had bought headlight protectors and sprayed them black, I thought it was quite a clever idea as it completely changes the look of the car and you can take them off when it gets dark etc...
but why would u want to go to all the fuss of putting on headlight protectors only to have to remove them again when it starts to get dark...?

There was a member on LOC who did this to his IS200, had tint film applied to the headlights. It did look amazing, and apparently didn't interfere much with the headlights.
Or you could do the old trick of putting tights over the lights
the stuff needed for it to be legal is flyeye tint!!i done the wifes wee bros car and it looks amazing!!
That does look pretty cool, is that a spray?
