Went out to the car today to take out the silly blue LED side lights that are in it, first one, out she came no problem.

2nd one came out, or at least part of it did Confusedhock:

The ****** cap came off and fell in the headlight Sad

Whats the easiest way to get the headlight out Sad

Undo the bolts in the arch, the two on the grill and it should pull out then mate

you could try a coat hanger with some blue tack on if you dont want to take the light out...

blue tak on a stiff piece of wire, make a hook on the end of the wire and wind the blue tak around the hook so it doesn't come off, remove the bulb and gently slide it though the hole, (might have to bend the wire a bit to get the right shape) push it onto the led and slowly slide out of the bulb hole?

Used to do it a lot when i used to make the BMW mini headlamps to remove hairs and bit of debris, just need a steady hand mate :thumbup1:

Thanks for the tip, will try that first then go for the headlamp removal.

For future ref, pulled the arch liner back and undid the 2 nuts circled in red and also the one that holds it on the top of the engine bay.
