Grom ipod
Are the Grom Ipod adapters any good?
Well, if you want to hook up your ipod to the factory headunit, then yeah they are good.
yeap very good, as long as you get the ipod interface version, the headphone jack ones loose sound quality apparently
They easy to fit? How hard is removing the head unit?
its about 30-60 mins job, very easy mate, there are plenty of walk throughs around:thumbup1:
SHAHZ yeap very good, as long as you get the ipod interface version, the headphone jack ones loose sound quality apparentlyDo they? I've got the aux and it's fine for the minute, hope that continues! :thumbup1:

Couldnt find a walkthrough on here. Is it worth buying a used one and saving £40?
We can take our dash out in less that ten minutes, you slide the top panel off (where the little piece of fabric is(but sometimes under the fabric there are two screws, undo these))
Then slide out the bottom panel (the heated seats, and trc and snow button panel)
Unclip the wires from the buttons to make work easier.
You should see 2 bolts above the A/C unit when top panel is taken off, undo these.
You should also see 2 bolts under the headunit when bottom panel is taken on, undo these.
Now lift both the units up a couple of centimetres, now pull the whole thing forward, and it should come out. Now just located the wire you have to put GROM into, then put it all back together.
parthiban Do they? I've got the aux and it's fine for the minute, hope that continues! :thumbup1:

A lot of us on here have done it before so there's plenty of advice available should you need it
