Carles Hi, I want to run my IS200 auto with E85 then I need to increase the AFR.
Just bought a HKS FCD but I discovered later that it is for use in turbo engines, could use it safely in an aspirated engine?

it's more for a supercharger than a turbo. thing if you going to use e85 you will need a good garage to get you running. might have to change injectors

I bought too a kit to use E85 but don't work properly. I thought that the FCD would be the solution but looking the assembly instructions suspected that it was not.
Now I can run with 60% of E85 with no problem and no MIL but I want to run with 100% E85.
I think the size of the injectors of IS200 it's 243 cc, do you know what the next size and the model compatible with the 1g-fe engine?
also pure e85 can damage fuel lines....

The FCD simply modifies the TPS voltage signal 'fooling' the ECU into thinking that boost levels are lower than they actually are, thus preventing fuel cut. The FCD monitors the voltage signal and, once it has reached the level set by the adjuster, the voltage is 'clamped' so that it does not rise any higher. Providing the FCD is adjusted to a voltage level slightly below the ECU fuel cut point, the FCD will prevent the ECU from ever cutting fuel. This will allow the boost level to be increased to any desired level - subject to fuelling, turbocharger and engine limits.

You can use blackbox by TTE, but their reliability issues are not worth it mate.
The Greddy BCC is the better option.

The FCD works differently and more dangerously, it cuts the voltage by a percentage right through the range so leans you out right through, not just at the top like the BCC
