Disconnected the battery today and when i reconnected it and took the car for a spin it was cutting out when i came off throttle almost like the idle range was 2 low

MY question does this have to be reconfigured everytime you diconnect the battery i.e get it used to normal driving or sit holding it on a set rev point for a few mins or something daft like that....


had a quick skim of the manual but it didnt shed any light unless i start playing with the Tuning i think...

when i changed my battery the idle dropped to around 400rpm after a long run the idle returned to normal

I changed my battery on the weekend and the same thing happened to me Revs dropped off but by the time I got to the end of the carpark the revs had returned to normal

I think mate the aem dont lose the info as ive had mine off the car for a few days just carnt remember if that happened to mine? what boost pressure you running?

Things done :- SPC turbo kit (custom), Blueflame cat back with custom tip, B&M shortshift, grooved discs all round, Mintex pads all round, OEM wheels in white,Denso ik22s, Calipers painted black,04 spec rear lights, Tein basic coilovers, Helix organic clutch, Fan washer jets, late spec headlights (dark), Carbon bonnet, Hotchkis anti roll bars, Front arm rest, Top box from late spec.

I dont think its loosing the info but not sure if there needs to be a boot up setup or something as its always got issues from battery reconnect and never quite found the right solution lol

If possible mate have you got a copy of your pin outs from your AEM fic to the standard ecu want to try and do a comparison if possible...

Hmmm this is strange i have disconnected many times the battery and had not problems lossing the Greddy map. So i suppose it should be the same with you too.

im sure its not lost the map but seems like the stock ecu argues with the fic upon 1st power up in the fic manual it states about the RPM set up i wonder if i will have to do this again...
