Swirl remover
Swirl remover
I havent tried it yet but the poorboys SSR is meant to be very good
If you're going for actual removal I've found the Menzerna range to be very good on Jap paints. You don't want anything too OTT as most of our paints are soft (mine is VERY soft).
If you're just looking to 'fill' the swirls, my long time fave is still Autoglym Super Resin Polish.
Or if you've got a black car, the PoorBoys Black Hole works a treat.
i've used some of the meguiars range http://www.meguiars.co.uk/home/ the ultimate compound removed 90% of the swirls after 1 treatment they do another product swirl x but not tried that yet, check there web site as they have some good vids and advice.
yep i like the megs ultimate compound with a DA polisher. that works very well on my car. then a coat of Dodo blue velvet over the top coat works a treat.
meguiars rules is top stuff view the video for ultimate compound on the meguiars uk website when he does a 1935 black riley coupe the results are amazing.
here is the direct video link http://www.meguiars.co.uk/video-demos/600
I'm going to have to think about attacking the swirls on my car at some point soon - going to be starting with the brand new unopened bottle of super resin polish that I have sitting in the garage (:tongue_smilie and then go from there!
One thing though, do these pads (like the ones below) make much difference compared to just using a normal cloth or applicator?
