I Know I posted a Few Pics in My Newbie Post, But here She is From The Start

I Brought My SportCross in May 2010, I've always owned Mondeo's and really fancied a change, I've always liked the IS200 and i had my Heart Set on one.

I Had around £3000 to Spend so i searched Autotrader and Ebay determined to find my perfect IS, After a few hours Searching i Came across a SportCross, I had never Seen one before, I thought the Backend was a little Ugly but i decided to travel the whole 2 miles to have a look, First Impressions were good, I Loved the Colour, Interior Etc, What i was'nt happy with was the Mileage, 135,000 miles on a 2003 car was a little high for me, I looked through all the paper work and the mileage was backed up with a full Lexus Service history.

I decided that if it drove with the slightest of faults i'd walk away....
The Test Drive was a Success, it drove like 35,000 miles..

The Asking Price was £3100, A bit on the high side, i knew what i wanted to pay for it and i stuck to it, With a bit of negotiation i got it for £2700..

This was what she looked like when i got her..

The One thing that had to be changed was the Wheels, They really did'nt do it for me, I found a Set of 17inch Lexus Wheels on Ebay that had been Fully Refurb'd..

The Same Weekend that i changed the Wheels i also Black Eye'd the Headlights and added the Angel eye Sidelights, Debadged the Rear Also.

New Number Plates were a must while i waited for my Private plate to be transferred. I painted the Calipers Blue and added the Lexus Decals(Sorry No Pics of Calipers)

Next was a Grill Change, I really wanted the Sport grill but i couldn't find one in the right colour so i ha to have Second best and go with black. My Personal plate was also put on at around the same time.

She Stayed like this for a while until i got a little bored with the look and searched high and low for a set of eyebrows, i wanted the ones with with the straight cut and i finally found a set in America (ebay).
Before i painted and fitted them i Wanted the sport grill in the right colour so i could fit them at the same time, I found one and also found the number plate Surrounds too.. This is How she currently looks...

And a Few Pictures of my Stereo which runs with the Factory Sat Nav

Car looks very nice, funny thing I like your old wheels better maybe because most IS have the standard wheel on.

Keep up the good work.

Very nice matey. I really do like the SportX. Aside from club members, I tink I've only ever seen one on the road.
