Need tyres againad: i've managed to kill 3 brand new Falken FK452's in 18 months
hock:, combo of needing the Geo done and a million and 1 roundabouts where I live, anyways bit strapped at the mo so wondered if anyone's had experience of either Nankang or Federal tyres can get them at a good price but want to make sure there ok, would rather spend the extra and get Toyo's but if I can save a few quid and get a decent tyre at the same time then i'll go for them
Cheers.
drop Anees a Pm mate, he was telling me about some good cheap tyres when we were at the ring.

All the rounabouts round here really don't help, I know I need the Geo sorting but you can't get points and a fine for Geo like you can with tyres and I just ain't go tthe cash to get both done at the mo so that's why i'm after decent cheap tyres if there is such a thing.
Tyres are a very personal thing IMHO.
After reading some reviews a couple of years back about Nexen N3000 and needing some tyres, I went for them, never looked back and always get them when I can, infact just fitted two on the front of my Aristo.
Have you tried not going sideways round the roundabouts?
i had some nexen n3000's on my lex and they were pretty good, might try a set on the rear of the skyline soon? would like the same as i have on it now but just cant afford £209 each for the Michelin's i have on at the moment cared: amazing grip though :thumbup1:
Andy i had the nankang ns2's on the front of my lex and they were ok but on the rear they were **** wet or dry? but they did ok as a stop gap untill i swapped wheels still got a brand new one in the shed actually
