Hi, my boot release button doesnt work, im not sure it ever has but to be honest ive never tried it until now. Anyone know what could be the cause. The battery in the remote is fine.

Have you tried cleaning the boot release bars as they may just be dirty.

is the boot locked via the key as this i believe stops it popping via the leaver inside or the remote

Rabster is the boot locked via the key as this i believe stops it popping via the leaver inside or the remote

That's what I was about to say!

Do you mean it won't even "pop" open. If it pops but does not open up on it's own, then it could be that your tension bars are worn out, as this happens over time, they loose their spring.
