As title, anyone know what it would cost to get one of these sprayed in astral black? (boot and spoiler)

I paid £200 in Platinum Ice couple of years ago.
If you do all the prep work maybe it well save a few £'s?

I would say around the £200 mark too. A bit under or over depending on where you go. I also agree that a lot of places would discount that if you did some/all of the prep work yourself. I'm considering a full spray on mine (probably post a thread about it soon) and if I do, it will be turning up at the bodyshop on a flatbed, fully stripped and with a couple of small patches of roughly applied filler! Some places might insist they do all the stripping and refitting (lights, badges, plate etc.) personally, I would steer clear of those places, and go with someone more accommodating.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Good advice on the self preparation, but I think I'll just keep waiting for one in my colour to come up. It's not really a bargain anymore if I have to spend double it's cost to get it painted. Sad

Unfortunately this is the case. I am soon to be looking for a bunch of body panels, but would have to be in decent condition and it Plat Ice, as the cost of spraying them all would be more than the car's current value as it stands!

Painting is always more labour cost than materials, so anything you can do yourself to reduce that should help, and a friendly bodyshop shouldn't mind. Though some would insist on doing the easy bits you can do yourself and charging you £50-100 an hour to do it, and you don't need that!

I'm on the lookout for a plat ice boot, I reversed at an angle a while ago into another cars wing mirror lol I've popped the dent out as much as possible but theres ripples, to correct it at a body shop they want about 180 Sad cheaper to wait for a panel in the same colour to come along on the bay.

Also try 247spares.

my problem is that I've already got the OEM sport spoiler, so I need a whole new boot with the spoiler already on.

The thing with the bodyshop doing all the work is so they know is a proper job that has been done and it won't react with their materials.

Only know this from my dad working in a bodyshop, He says the amount of time you wast after someone has decided to do the prep work to try and put it right is unbeleivable, Thats why some bodyshops say that they will do all the prep work so a better quality finish is acheived and less problems in getting to this stage.
