Hi all loving the charger, makes the lexus so much better,

just wondering what mods have you guys done to your superchargers,
ive seen a few of you with bov is there any gain to this or is it just for sound?
Is there bigger pulleys? alto do you not have to start changing internals and injectors for this,
whats the max psi anyone has got up to? or you could safely go?

ive got a boost gauge so i need to pipe that in, where have you been puting them or is it ok on any pipe on the boosted side?

bit off topic but all i need is 12v +,- and acc ignition, for my gauge im just guna splice into the headunit wires anyone know what colors they are?

what are the bigger intercoolers some of you have, dose it fit to the tte pipe how it is with the smaller one or are they wider and need modification.

There are not a great deal of mods you can do to the charger. A BOV does not do much, apart from sound nice, though I believe it may illuminate the need for the bypass cable?

More boost can be gained from pulley upgrades, although other mods are needed, and this begins to add up (injectors, FMIC, piggyback ECU and mapping = ££££!)

Ormi has posted a lot recently about porting the charger outlet, and also polishing the inside of the inlet is recommended by Bandit.

I'm not sure much can be gained by a larger FMIC alone, though I think some report a very slight boost increase? The stock intercooler is pretty optimal for the stock boost level I believe. Does look good though! Most bigger ones have larger inlet/oulet pipes, but silicone reducers can solve this and use all the original pipework.

Removing the cats in the manifold (either removing them from the stock manifold or fitting an upgraded manifold) and/or removing (or replacing with sports cat) the main cat are recommended with the charger too I believe.

As for a power feed, the cig lighter might be easier to splice onto than the head unit?

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

to the above spot on....i have the bigger intercooler fitted i cut my crash bar so you can see the whole cooler or you loose around 2 inches behind the crash bar....
i also have the bigger pulley to fit but im going to port the charger first..
i also done away with the pre cats which improved performance and i would recomend..
now im going to try and make a decat...for the main cat..

As Stoney wrote you can fit a bigger pulley to increase boost but you will need more parts to change such as intercooler injectors ecu and good mapping see my project thread for more information
