While I've had some time I've been experimenting with adding POI's onto the nav disk. I've been extracting and re-writing the files but to create a backup is quite easy. I couldn't copy it directly but used dvddecrypter to create an iso. I then used Nero to re-write the iso. Its dual layer so I used normal a dvd+r DL

This is strictly for making your own backup and nothing more! You are allowed to make a backup copy of any software you are legally entitled to use, providing you do not circumvent any protection and of course do not pass it on, sell it, eat it, paint it purple, etc.

Could it be sensitive to the exact brand of disc being used perhaps ? Or perhaps you and Geoffers just have different cars with different satnav units ?

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Hmmm - I was going to say Verbatim as well. Mine is a 56 plate too - I'll get the disk info later.
