Late xmas prezzie to my self, part II
the guy who sold it to me couldnt find the missing part that filled the hole in the front, and it looked fecking awful fitted.
So today i set about making my own.
First thing i did was make a template using blue low tack masking tape, which i transferred to a plastic box i had kicking about the garage and cut it out.

I then covered it with sticky backed felt,suede in black

I cut the insert about 2mm smaller than the hole as to make it a snug fit with the felt/suede covering on.
Finished item!

Gave it a run over with the low tack tape to remove bits, and it fits lit a good'n.:thumbup1:
Inside fitted pics tomorrow as its too dark to see atm.
Just need to re-flock the inside and its done!

I then covered it with sticky backed felt,suede in black
I cut the insert about 2mm smaller than the hole as to make it a snug fit with the felt/suede covering on.
