ad:I have been making do with my dying battery, regularly jump starting the car and removing the battery to charge it a few times a week! But it now won't hold enough charge to start the engine after more than 5 or 6 hours parked up (though will do after a 15 minute charge!) I think it is time to give it up and replace it!
I know that the OEM Lexus battery is pretty good. But was thinking of something with a few more amps, as I plan to install various electric goodies which will add load to the system, and I sometimes don't drive the car for a week or more, so every little helps!
Rabster had an uprated one of some description IIRC, I don't mind making some modifications to the battery tray to fit it, but don't want to go quite as serious as Stav! Does anyone have an recommendations?

Thats alot of money for a battery. But i guess if your gonna be running alot of extras on it then it might be worth it, but the bosch one i bout is amazing power for money. Like i said i watch dvds for hours in mine and it doesnt affect it at all

ad:That is the one I had in mind Dino! I wandered if there should be an alternative I should be looking for?
I will probably order THIS ONE.
As you say Dean, 780 CCA and 77AH. I don't think you can beat it for the money, just want to be sure I'm getting the best I can. Always liked Optimas, but I'm looking for under £100, and most of those are £200+!
Has anyone fitted one of these in an IS200 battery tray? (Rather than an IS300, which is different.) I understand some modding may be required, but do not know how much! The battery is nearly 5cm longer than the one in there at the mo, I will try to measure the tray and gap tomorrow, but I'm sure someone will have done it before!
