So, first convertible I've owned and was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to use to wash/treat/seal a convertibles fabric hood. Any product names etc would be awesome Smile

Auto Glym make good convertible hood products.

I have found renovo,I think that is what it is called?cleaning treatment and sealing treatment which in my opinion give good results also you could finish it of by using auto glym rubber polish,there is a web site where you can see renovo being used,also what product for your type of soft top mine is vinyl

Meguiars do soft top cleaners and protection - learnt that at the meet on Saturday lol

Not sure about the soft top itself but for the rubber seals use silicone grease, creates a really good water tight seal on them

Cheers guys. I went and bought some autoglym fabric hood cleaning kit. Its two bottles one for cleaning and another treating it. Will try it out at weekend and key u know how it goes.

Aston Martin use that product so it has to be good lol.

It worked well on mine being a vinyl type soft top, not sure if it works on mohair type of soft top,good to hear what you think of itSmile
