1997 MK3 VW Golf GTI
The car has covered 133,696 miles and comes supplied with tax until the end of March, an MOT which expires on November 7th and 2 sets of keys.
I have used this car daily since August last year and it has been a fantastic, reliable and economical car which has never let me down.
The car comes complete with a large history file to include the following:

101k miles service invoice by VW specialist for a cambelt replacement
102k miles service invoice by Caffyns VW main dealer - this service also included the replacement of the rear axle beam bushes and replacement ABS control unit
104k miles service invoice by Caffyns VW main dealer for a replacement alternator
109k miles service invoice by Caffyns VW main dealer - this service also included a replacement starter motor
117k miles service invoice by Caffyns VW main dealer
121k miles service invoice by VW specialist for a replacement ckutch slave cylinder
There are various other invoices also included for small items such as exhaust clamps, wiper blades, bulbs, tyres etc
During my ownership since around 128k miles i have had 2 wheel bearings replaced, new front disks and pads and all 4 tyres, which are still in very good condition. The car has also had an oil change.
As you can see this has been an extremely well maintained GTI by all owners throughout its life and the condition of the car reflects this. The car has been kept clean, polished and waxed on a regular basis. The car is also completely standard and has not been messed about with.
It will come supplied with a Kenwood headunit (not fitted in pics)
There are a couple of small areas of rust developing on the lower areas as shown in the pictures.
The only reason for the sale is i have changed to a MK3 Golf VR6.
