Need some help here with a very annoying problem

I have installed a aftermarket MOS headunit in my astra MK4, the connections was striaght forward ISO connections.

THe problem I have is when i turn the engine off and remove the key, the system loses everything, all settings, clock and cd position.

Why is this. my sisters got a MK4 and a aftermarket and it does the same thing.

So though Ill ask and fix both cars in one thread !

It sounds like you are lacking a permanent live connection, i.e. to keep the settings etc. When you turn the engine off you should still have a permanent live but clearly on yours you don't.

I presume there's some sort of issue with the connector/wiring/headunit.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !
