Omg this has got to be the next step in in car pcs! I've put my name down for one and will hopefully be doing a centrafuse set up with it once I have done enough research. What does everyone think?

Also got my name down for one.

Was discussing this with Steve and Stoney on Facebook.

They've already got the programming to mirror iPad/iPhones so it's perfect if youve got one of them.

Excellent toys - cheap as chips, and the size of a credit card, with HDMi output and USB input (though you'd most likely chuck a hub into it to have keyboard and mouse for a PC type setup). Wave of the future here...

And I do like the fact it's running Linux...

IS200 Sport - Sold
Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway  )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

I'm already on the list for one...

You might find that if it's happily running Fedora then you could run Centrafuse on it in any case - Linux has a program called WINE which (although it's not a windows emulator) allows a large number of windows programs to run under a Linux system... MS Office can be run on Linux if you really wanted to (but why you would want to I have no idea... :lolSmile

And Stav, if you can program in any language, you can do it in Linux as well - the like of Java etc are platform independent, as are a number of languages...

I mentioned this somewhere a couple of months ago, I was up at 6AM and still didn't get one! I think android would be a good bet, centrafuse won't run on an ARM computer.

Good to see that theres a lot of interest in this. I noticed that people say it already has linux on it but I thought the storage is removeable therefore does it come with an sd card or is the OS hardcoded onto it? What would be the best way to use this though for a car pc? I've heard centrafuse is the best gui so would like to use that or something similar....
