Hi guys,

The latest issue of Banzai has just hit the shelves but for this month only, you can download the new mag straight to your phone, tablet or computer absolutely free!

It's packed full of Jap goodness, like Ricky's stunning 560bhp H22A-powered EG on the cover, a duo of wild engine-converted Datsun Z Cars and even an interview with Mr. Adam "6TWO1" Ivell. We've also got all the latest news on Honda's F1 engine and with our JAE report thrown in there too, you'll probably spot a photo or two of your own car as well!

All you have to do is...

1) Download the "Banzai magazine" app from your usual app store or visit http://www.pocketmags.com/banzai
2) Click on the November issue
3) Click "settings" then "voucher" and enter the code "freebanzai"

Hope you enjoy your free issue guys...

Car cutting out.
by Kirsty19, 05-09-2022, 04:43 AM
Hi,

Thanks for the help with my diff question.

Anyway now I have bigger problems!

My car has started cutting out when I stop in traffic, when I coast for too long and it won't idle at one speed it keeps moving up and down.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? How is the best way to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Hi from Belgium

Hi everyone,

Good to see many IS200/300 owners on these forums!

I am originally from Belgium, but currently live in the Far East.

I own a 2003 IS200 SportCross. She's now stored. I only get to drive her twice a year... Prior to the SC, I owned a GS300 and an S2000.

Cheers!

Lexus diff final drive
by Kirsty19, 01-09-2022, 06:57 PM
Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help.

My mechanic thinks that my manual IS200 might have had an auto diff fitted at some point.

His reason for this is because at 70mph the car is revving at 3k - is this about right for a manual? Or might he be right?

Any help would be great! Smile

15" subwoofer - will it fit?
by reganlives, 31-08-2022, 08:31 AM
I've just sold my twin ported 12" enclosure and subs and am now looking at what to replace it with. I've come across the vibe blackdeath 15 passive enclosed sub but will it fit in the boot of an IS200? I can't figure out if I'd be able to get one through the boot opening! Lol

Classic impreza
by Shavnh, 23-08-2022, 03:43 AM
Haven't posted for a while, the time had come to sell the lexus and I was sad to see it go. I just needed something faster in my life. I was looking towards bmws for cheap rwd fun but I love jap imports and for the budget I had at the time I just couldn't afford a decent rwd jap.
I randomly came across the impreza and thought I'd give it a try for something different.
I belive it's a wrx model
I know I didn't choose the best on the market with a few rust spots and dings but I don't mind a bit of body work and leaves my options open as to where I want to go with this project.
This is my first turbo car and makes me smile every time I drive it

The list of mods so far:

Drilled and grooved front discs with yellow stuff pads,
Lowered on springs
Front mount
Decat with full stainless exhaust
Wolfrace ultralight alloys

I have already covered over the red bits on body with primer for now.
Also have taken the stickers off

CX7 Turbo project
by icemahn, 16-08-2022, 07:40 AM
Since I swapped my IS 200 to the Mazda CX7 I decided I would keep it standard. Although having an SUV platform underneath, I was quite surprised on what the thing can do. It is in fact a sports car in an SUV form. The disguise have embarrassed a few sports made cars. Trailing from behind, some drivers think I can easily overtake this... not! It is like the Hulk, subtle and easy in every day normal chores (going to work), but becomes a monster when aggravated and challenged.

In the end, I decided, I'll get the Hulk the equipment it needs. Corksport induction kit, Turbo Smart BOV, high flow exhaust and more to follow. Where will this lead me too? Obviously I need to do this the right way. This is why I'm back to being an OUTLAW!
