Hi all saw this club pop up in the is200 page on Facebook a lot so I thought I would tag along. Any other bristolians on board? I have loved the jap cars for years. My history is 1991 Toyota celica, then I bought a 1995 Mitsubishi gto, then a 97 Mitsubishi fto mivec. Then my current car is a 2001 is200 sport. [Image: uny8a9e5.jpg]

Supercharger help and advice.
by Chri5, 24-08-2021, 09:47 AM
I really want to charge my car. And I'm aware it's going to be quite expensive so if I can do this I'm going to be getting it in bits and pieces.
So far I'm led to believe its the eaton m90 charger I need.
But where's the best place to locate 1. I'm also not sure what cars had this.
What else am I going to need???
I've tried looking around for advice but it's quite sketchy so hopefully you guys can help.

Nissan N15 Almera GTi
by Bioshock, 19-08-2021, 11:34 AM
Well, I didn't go looking for this, it kind of found me. I didn't even know they did an SR20DE GTI Almera. I thought the SR was the hot hatch of the range. The suspension in these is stiff as hell as standard and it comes with factory strut braces front and rear. First car I've had in ages, were there is a definite power band after 3.5K revs. Reminds me of a 4 wheeled RD350.Big Grin
Cheers

It's about time OJC had one of these....

Ok, so as most of you know my IS is heading to the big scrappy in the sky. So the hunt was on for a new car. I wanted a bit of a drift slag, so RWD, turbo and jap were all musts! I looked into Supras, Soarers, Silvias, through to RX7's. But eventually I settled on this.....

A 1992 R32 Skyline GTST

Momo steering wheel
Ultralite wheel nuts
Cat 1 Clifford alarm
Glove box boost controller and guage holder

I was told she is running roughly 380bhp, but after driving her about for the day I reckon it probably more like 320-340bhp. Will need to get her on a rolling road to find out!

There is still plenty to get my teeth into, the rear arches are on their way out so I need to get them cut out. Perfect excuse to fit some wideass rear overfenders.

The wheels need a good refurb, just need to decide on a colour.

Then I need to revert to type and get her sat on the floor, but not too low Wink

Oh, and get rid if the black bonnet!

It's safe to say I am pretty chuffed, she pulls like a train, and the sound is amazing! I have some awesome plans, so watch this space!

Hello from Newcastle
by ianjw, 17-08-2021, 11:02 AM
Been lurking around for a short while and thought I'd say hello.

Just realising what a slippery slope this modding malarky is! Picked up an IS200 because it was cheap, tatty wheels were a good excuse to go bigger. Looked like an offroader so got some springs. Not low enough so time for coilovers....

Now got posty's supercharger sat in the workshop waiting to go in and an eBay watch list as long as my arm Big Grin how did that happen?

Cheers,

Ian
